Outdoor pool (summer season)
Enjoy a refreshing dip in our outdoor pool. From 09.00 to 10.00, the pool is open for laps only, then for free swimming. You can get swimming tickets at the reception. For park guests only.
Our swimming pool is open from April until October.

Holiday with your dog 🐾
Enjoying a holiday together with your dog? At EuroParcs Buitenhuizen, your loyal four-legged friend is more than welcome. While you relax in nature, your dog can enjoy the many walking routes, recreational areas and beaches nearby.
A dog leash policy applies throughout the park to keep the environment pleasant and safe for everyone. Waste bags and waste bins are available throughout the park to help keep the surroundings clean.
The area around Buitenhuizen is perfect for long walks with your dog. Spaarnwoude recreational area offers various walking routes, nature areas and lakes where you can enjoy the outdoors together. The beaches of IJmuiden are also nearby, and between 1 October and 1 April dogs are allowed off leash in many areas.
Good to know:
- Pets are allowed in selected accommodations
- Dogs must be kept on a leash in the park
- Dogs are welcome on many walking routes and in nature areas nearby
- Waste bags and waste bins are available throughout the park
- There is no crate or dog shower available at the accommodation

Firework-free
The use of fireworks is not permitted within our park. For many years, we have consciously chosen to maintain a completely firework-free New Year's celebration, allowing our guests, children and pets to enjoy peace and relaxation.
Due to changes in Dutch legislation, a ban on consumer fireworks will apply from New Year's Eve 2026/2027 onwards. Only Category F1 fireworks (such as sparklers and novelty fireworks) will remain permitted for private use. Professional fireworks displays may still take place where the required permits have been granted.
Please note that our firework-free policy applies only within the boundaries of the park. Outside the park, depending on local regulations and circumstances, professional fireworks displays may take place and permitted F1 fireworks may be used.
Important: No fireworks are permitted within the park, including Category F1 fireworks.

Fitness area
Keep in shape in our gym. You can use the fitness room free of charge during the reception's opening hours. You can use the fitness room by making a reservation. Once you have made a reservation, you can pick up the key for the fitness center at the reception desk.

Playgrounds
Jump for joy on the (air) trampoline or play in our playground. There is also a football pitch and a table tennis table in the park. Table tennis bats can be borrowed from reception.
